Hello again out there in DMUSIC. Well lets see I know I jump around and I never stay on topic, I have to admit the song the Key sucks but you know I try, I do all of this alone so I get no feed back during production. I thought my vocals were weak as hell but you do what you can. I could have preformed it better. Anywho, all is good, I have been doing alot of apperances around Charlotte and I am going to be heading out to London in the spring of next year for some shows at some pubs, trying to keep it real. I just wanted to thank DMUSIC for putting up with me and they know what I mean. I promise as god and the goddess are my witnesses, If I someday make it big I will do what ever promotional things they would like for me to do within the confines of my schedule.
Tori Amos, as you may not know Tori has a new album out and I have heard some of the trax. And I have to tell you now they are AWSOME. Good bye little earth quakes and hello new album, Gold Dust is an awsome tune
staring kinda slow with an excellent piano intro, then builds, very dramatic and mellow. Her voice is true Tori form, "Sights and sounds, pull me back another year", I was here, I was here. ETC the vocalizations are so amazing and pretty. Thats my girl. then I listened to a Sorta Fairy Tale, AWSOME! this is really hard to explain but I can say that its a very nice song that keeps you remembering "This SORTA Fairy Tale.
The Vocalizations are very familar and true TORI FORM. I think this will be alot of Tori fans favorite one. Amber Waves is nice and very mellow. You can tell that in this album Tori was very introspective almost sad, I wonder why? could it be that she watched all that has been happening from across the pond? ;) (Wink) It must be hard for her being from my home state of North Carolina to see the things that have happened to us this past year. And not be able to be here in person, but who knows? I heard a song Named after a breakfast food and I wont say what it is you have to get the album first! LOL its cool not my favorite but then again what the hell do I know?
MADONNA
"Just heard the official cut of the radio version of 'Die Another Day' (as it IS called) It's an epic in true Bond style and here's a run-down on how it sounds...

It starts with a great string section - realy dramatic and it misleads you into thinking it's a regular showy-bond theme. However, you know Madonna's changed the script as soon as the beats start - very Mirwais! Great hard, bare beats in the style of 'Music'. It's a surprise when the vocal comes in - Madonna sounds like Bjork at first and there is use of a vocoder (as in 'Impressive Instant', only not as heavy).

Each line of the verses start with "I'm gonna..." and
are very simple but effective. Lyrics are great - example: "I'm gonna break the cycle, I'm gonna shake up the system" and "I'm gonna avoid the cliche, I'm gonna suspend my senses" but the best lyric that really stood out was when Madonna whispers "Sigmund Freud - analyse this!" over and over. The chorus repeats "I'm gonna die another day, it's not my time to go".

Production is superb - the track cuts out to silence several time very effectively and the beats are hard and fast. Very French, Daft-Punk style. The strings feature intermittently throughout to really lift it. Not dissapointing at all - the buzz on this track is building already.

As you know I have no relationship with either artist but someday I plan on being there best friends, LOL you know very ABFAB, I can say that these two artist who are my main influences are still pumping out the hits and I am proud of them, my only teachers in music.
Well until we meet someday

;) (Wink) fabian
